第四届计算机视觉、图像与深度学习国际学术会议(CVIDL 2023)顺利召开,会议圆满落幕!

The 4th International Conference on Computer Vision, Image and Deep Learning (CVIDL2023) was Successfully Held in Zhuhai.

第四届计算机视觉、图像与深度学习国际学术会议(CVIDL 2023)由珠海科技学院主办,中南大学社会计算研究中心联合主办,珠海科技学院机械工程学院、广东省智能视觉精密检测工程技术研究中心承办,珠海市智能视觉精密检测工程技术研究中心、河海大学信息科学与工程学院、中新国际联合研究院协办,于 2023513日成功召开,圆满落幕!本次会议采用双线模式召开。与会代表、主讲嘉宾、参会以及在线观看学者总数近300人。

The 4th International Conference on Computer Vision, Image and Deep Learning (CVIDL 2023) was hosted by Zhuhai College of Science and Technology, co-hosted by the Social Computing Research Center of Central South University, organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhuhai College of Science and Technology and Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Center for Intelligent Visual Precision Testing, and co-organized by Zhuhai Engineering Technology Research Center for Intelligent Visual Precision Testing, the School of Information Science and Engineering of Hohai University, and China-Singapore International Joint Research Institute. It was successfully held on May 13, 2023, in a combination of online and offline conference. There were nearly 300 delegates, keynote speakers, attending scholars, and online viewers.

在开幕式致辞中,珠海科技学院常务副校长郑家茂教授代表珠海科技学院,对各位专家、学者能抽出宝贵的时间参会,表示衷心的感谢和诚挚的欢迎!对本次会议的胜利召开表示热烈的祝贺!

In the opening address, on behalf of Zhuhai College of Science and Technology, Professor Zheng Jiamao, Executive Vice President of the college, expressed sincere gratitude and welcome to all experts and scholars for taking the valuable time to attend the conference, and extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of this conference!

在致辞中,郑教授谈及珠海科技学院于2004年成立,并发展成为全国有影响力、办学特色鲜明的民办本科高校。学校荣获广东省文明校园”“中国产学研合作示范基地”“广东省党建工作示范高校”“广东省大学生创新创业教育示范学校等荣誉,被认定为首批国家级创新创业学院建设单位,获批工信部首批专精特新产业学院建设立项和广东省集成电路人才培养基地建设点。2021年转设前连续7年居于国内各大同类院校排行榜榜首,转设后以优异成绩居于软科中国大学排名民办高校排行榜第二,连续三年蝉联广东省第一名,连续两年在广东省民办高校年度检查中获评优秀。

In his address, Professor Zheng talked about the establishment of Zhuhai College of Science and Technology in 2004 and its development into a nationally influential and distinctive private undergraduate university. The college has been awarded honors such as “Guangdong Civilized Campus”, “China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Demonstration Base”, “Demonstration University of Party Building in Guangdong Province”, and “Demonstration University of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education for College Students in Guangdong Province”. It has been recognized as one of the first national construction units of innovation and entrepreneurship colleges and has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the first batch of construction projects for specialized, refined, and new industry colleges, as well as the construction site of the Guangdong integrated circuit talent training base. Before its transformation in 2021, it ranked first on the rankings of similar universities in China for 7 consecutive years. After its transformation, it ranked second on the list of private universities in Shanghai Ranking. It has been ranked first on the list of private universities in Guangdong for three consecutive years and awarded “Excellent” in the annual inspection of private universities in Guangdong for two consecutive years.

郑教授及珠海科技学院希望,通过本次国际学术会议的召开,为学校发展和科研创新工作提供更多的思考和参考,殷切期望各位专家学者继续关心和助力珠海科技学院的成长,助推学校实现更好更快发展;希望通过大家共同的努力加快推进特色鲜明的高水平应用型大学建设,为增强我省中国式现代化新动能,奋力推进“两个先行”,建设人与自然和谐共生的现代化贡献力量!

Professor Zheng and Zhuhai College of Science and Technology hoped that, through this international conference, more thoughts and references would be provided for the university’s development and scientific research innovation work; experts and scholars would continue to concern about and assist the college’s growth and promote the university for better and faster development; joint efforts from various parties would speed up the construction of high-level application-oriented universities with distinctive characteristics and make contributions to the new momentum enhancement of modernization in our province, vigorous promotion of the “two first”, and establishment of harmonious coexistence between man and nature!

致辞中,黄景德主任代表组委对支持单位表示衷心的感谢,并表示,此次会议将重点讨论与计算机视觉、图像与深度学习相关的主题。分享计算机视觉、图像与深度学习领域的最新成果,共同探讨学传感器网络、人工智能、深度学习、计算机视觉的应用与发展前景,希望通过这次会议增进友谊、加强交流、扩大合作!

In his speech, Director Huang Jingde, on behalf of the organizing committee, expressed sincere gratitude to the supporting units and stated that this conference would focus on topics related to computer vision, image, and deep learning. Participants could share the latest achievements in computer vision, image, and deep learning, and jointly explore the application and development prospects of sensor networks, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and computer vision. It was hoped to enhance friendship, strengthen exchanges, and expand cooperation through this conference!

致辞中,黄主任提及广东省智能视觉精密检测工程技术研究中心是经广东省科技厅批准建立的省级工程技术研究中心,挂靠单位珠海科技学院。中心围绕智能视觉系统、视觉软件应用、精密数字检测等三个研究方向,创新检测方法与检测手段,满足机械、半导体、电子、汽车、医疗、包装等领域的视觉技术应用需求,实现稳定工艺、提高产品质量、降低生产成本,为高端制造企业服务。近3年中心瞄准产业需求,承担10余项省部级平台建设与科技攻关专项,取得了一系列具有国内先进水平的科研成果。

In his speech, Director Huang mentioned that the Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Center for Intelligent Visual Precision Testing is approved by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and is affiliated to the Zhuhai College of Science and Technology. The center focuses on three research directions: intelligent visual systems, visual software applications, and precision digital detection. It innovates detection methods and means to meet the application needs of visual technology in fields such as machinery, semiconductors, electronics, automobiles, healthcare, and packaging, achieve stable processes, improve product quality, reduce production costs, and serve high-end manufacturing enterprises. The center has targeted industrial demand and undertaken more than 10 provincial and ministerial platform construction and technology research projects for the past three years, achieving a series of domestically advanced scientific research achievements.

如今,计算机视觉、图像与深度学习等,已成为支撑现代科技发展的重要学科,并正在深刻而广泛地改变我们的社会。

此次大会将提供一个专业的国际平台,促进学术发展、经验借鉴和产学研合作。

Nowadays, computer vision, image, and deep learning have become important disciplines that support the development of modern technology, profoundly and widely changing our society.

This conference provides a professional international platform to promote academic development, experiential learning, and industry-university-research cooperation.
